Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes.
Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting shop floor paint operations in an automotive or similar manufacturing facility.
This position requires thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience in automotive liquid (wet-on-wet) paint processes, and deep understanding of how paint process parameters and paint chemistry impact quality.
This position requires thorough knowledge of manufacturing concepts, including print reading, manufacturing bill of material development, time studies, line balancing, ergonomics, and contamination control.
Must demonstrate high proficiency in computer skills with ability to learn various web-based and legacy systems.
Must be proficient in MS powerpoint, word, and excel. Preferred- HVC and EPIX
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
Ten + years engineering experience required.
