Description
- Mesquite required manufacturing SME support to launch new equipment that had been installed for production of their M795 product. They requested a team of experts to quickly assemble onsite to get the equipment running at rate and producing quality products.
Scope
- Co-developed by GD and TPT, which included added safety equipment and controls, bottleneck analysis and resolution, optimizing machine cycle times and improving overall throughput to meet production requirements. In addition, quality optimization was key to ensure that First Article Testing could be successfully achieved.
Success
- Project is currently ongoing and is meeting project milestones.
