- TPT was contracted to study process defaults in 5 key bottleneck areas of their plant. They were getting pressured to add additional resources to improve throughput.
Scope
- TPT spent 4 weeks on site assessing the current state operations and developing detailed MODAPTS time studies of each of the bottlenecks. This data provided a prioritized production throughput plan for their maintenance department and tooling automation engineers to focus on root causes of each downtime occurrence and rapidly implement corrective actions to improve throughput.
Success
- With accurate downtime data and a focused corrective action approach, Miller Coors was able to reduce downtime without having to add additional resources.
